My Mom Has No Friends

My 80-year-old mom Veronica moved to L.A. at the height of the pandemic. Making new friends was near impossible for this frisky woman who once threw dinner parties every week. She got lonely. I decided to take action when she stopped putting on lipstick. (My mom has more makeup than Dolly Parton.) Here's my New York Magazine story about how I helped her find some fun broads--and came to see my mom in a new light. If you have a parent or friend who would like to hang out with Veronica, reach out to me. Loneliness not only sucks, it also shortens your life span and can heighten your risk of stroke, heart disease and dementia in later life. And if YOU are lonely, email me right now. We will make a plan to chat or Zoom.
